The Hits

The Hits was a Canadian radio network owned by Rogers Media that operated from 1999 to 2003. It was a national brand featuring contemporary hit radio (CHR) formats, playing popular Top 40 music. The network was introduced to unify and rebrand several Rogers-owned stations across Canada under a single identity. However, due to challenges in sustaining the national format and branding, Rogers phased out The Hits by 2003, with its stations reverting to local branding and programming. It is notable for being an early attempt to create a cohesive national CHR network in Canada.
