Pirata Fm

Pirata FM was a Portuguese pirate radio station that emerged in the early 1980s during a period when private radio broadcasting was illegal in Portugal. Operating from Lisbon, it gained a reputation for playing alternative and underground music, often catering to youth culture and subcultures. The station became a symbol of resistance against state-controlled media and was part of a broader movement that pushed for the legalization of private radio in Portugal.
